Christmas Giving Project
Advent is a wonderful time of year. It is a time of waiting and preparing for the Lord. One way of doing this is through taking care of others.
As we plan for the Christmas season, the Eighth Grade’s service project is to package goodies for the homeless. Included in the packages are items brought in by all the students: drink boxes, candy, snacks, lip balm, toothpaste/toothbrushes, gloves, hand lotion and hand sanitizer (click here to see the list of items each class is responsible for contributing to this cause). Along with the gift packages are blankets donated by the faculty. Packages will be distributed on Christmas Eve to the poor on the streets of Washington, D.C.
